Long story short...
Can someone send me the official .rco files from PSP 6.61 firmware, please ? (public or privatelly)
And now the long story...
The RCOXML format (named this way by zingaburga, the creator of rcomage) is embedded inside .rco files structure
This format is common for PSP and PS3
Rcomage is able to extract it and rebuild it, but it uses hundreds of attributes labeled as "unknown" (because nobody in all this years identifyed them and nobody knows how they works)
I decided to start documenting this with the purpose of identifying them, by the hard way.... by extracting everything and performing massive searchs and comparisons of PS3 4.76 firmware
At this point i finished with PS3 firmware, i was able to identify around 80 new "unknowns", and i created this page on wiki with all the info RCOXML Objects - PS3 Developer wiki
Now im thinking i could do the same with PSP 6.61 firmware to identify a few more and keep adding more info in PS3 wiki, because as said... RCOXML code is the same for PSP and PS3 both consoles will be affected by the new discoveries
Dont expect me to start the research with PSP soon though, because the research in PS3 firmware has been a real pita and needed lot of work, but if someone gives me the official 6.61 .rco collection i will do it at some point
